Kat + Will | Myrtle Beach Wedding, SC

intimate beach ceremony with bride and groom marrying at Myrtle Beach wedding

Kat and Will are one of those couples that just know how to party, they had an incredible Myrtle Beach wedding! These two decided to defy everything COVID and have their wedding, their way. They decided on a destination beach wedding in the middle of a pandemic. During monsoon and hurricane season without skipping a beat, they made it happen! I ended up getting to work with them because their original photographer could no longer make it, less than two months out! The two are located in New York but both are originally from Tennessee and totally UT fans!

Rather than a major venue the two decided on a beach house rental to celebrate the day. It was beyond stunning and had plenty of room for everyone. The wedding was smaller due to the pandemic but still elegant and full of life! It was still incredibly romantic being on the beach, and filled with sentimental moments throughout. We had a few checklist items as we went through the day and I am so excited to share them with you.

The entire day was filled with SO much sentimental value it melted my heart! The letter in Kat’s bouquet was a Valentines Day letter her grandfather wrote his grandmother (both who have passed) nearly 50 years ago. Kat was also wearing her grandmother’s earrings. To top it all off we recreated some images from Kat’s parents wedding. Their entire Myrtle Beach wedding was filled with incredibly intimate and sentimental moments, it was perfect.

Before saying, “I do” there were a few important moments that had to happen first. A first look with her dad and her bridesmaids made the top of Kat’s list. Having those couple of moments before the madness of the day began were so important to he. She’s such an incredible person and such a sentimental bride.

Despite all the craziness that went into their wedding day, it was a picture perfect day.
